It's a sad truth. No compasses in the world can beat my own compass. It does not point to the North Pole or Mecca, but it always points to my home, my family, and my makulit na Iya. Being a thousand miles away from home (Philippines to Singapore) has inspired me to create this blog and compile some of Iya's funny pictures. I used inexpensive but ever-available camera phones (Moto E398 & MotoRazr V3XX). I hope I am not doing injustice to the two Motorola handphone.
My Family. My Daughter. My Compass
IYA - We started calling my daughter 'Iya' during the early days when she was starting to speak. When we called her 'Trisha', she replied and copied our words with 'Iyaaahhh'. So that's how her name stucked.
MAKULIT - (Tagalog word) if referred to a child, is irritatingly funny or entertaining; lively and spirited; bubbly; energetic
